Beach Santa with Lighthouse Wine/Champagne Bottles

I must say that the beach santas I designed and painted this year have been my best sellers. I have a large order I am working on right now of them. I decided to start painting up the bottles based on my bulb ornaments, only larger of course. Here is the beach santa with a lighthouse. I took him and my other santa with the dolphin which I will also share with you on vacation with me to St. George Island, FL. Enjoy!

So Sorry I've Been MIA...

Just been so busy, I haven't had a moment to be on the internet much. But I have been painting my little heart out! I have participated in two craft shows this season and did very well. My last one is December 14th and I also have my items in two craft malls called "The Shack" in Lancaster, KY and "Back Porch Treasures" in Harrodsburg, KY. I had mentioned earlier in the year that I now have a Facebook page too and I am trying to drive traffic to it. So hard to not get lost on the internet. Etsy has gotten so big it is hard for anyone to find me. But sales on Etsy have really taken off this past week. I have several orders to fill...busy, busy, busy! 'Tis the season! I have almost gotten all my Christmas decorations put up because I want to have plenty of time to do the other things I wanna do this holiday season. This is the new banner my friend LeeAnne made for me...she is so talented! I turned this banner into business cards and they turned out really well. I promise I will do better and post a few more pics of what I've been working on. Thanks for visiting me! Happy holidays!

You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch!

Can you believe I woke up bright and early yesterday morning with this lil' guy floating around in my head? I could not get to painting fast enough. I have painted a Grinch face bulb ornament before and finished up some spoon ornaments with him on them but wanted more of a full bodied bulb and this is my first attempt. I just can't seem to get enough of the green meanie these days...just itching to paint a tree topper...I envision a Grinch tree in my house this Christmas! Oh yeah, credit has to go to my creative husband for coming up with the button idea "no Christmas!"

Can ya tell I've had my head in the sand and surf? I have wanted to paint an entire collection of "beach" ornaments and this is the second in my series with the lightbulbs for ornaments. I love how this turned out. Was fun to paint santa's coat a different color other than red. Enjoy! Stay tuned for more!

Santa Loves the Beach and Dolphins

Monkey See, Monkey Do!

These are my latest bride and groom creations. I have a friend that loves anything with a monkey on it so to honor her 30th anniversary I designed and painted this cute set of a monkey bride and groom. I love a good challenge! She was pretty happy with these. I have another couple that loves frogs so naturally they got a set of a frog bride and groom. Of course, I have the gingerbread bride and groom and I have also painted a snowman bride and groom but don't have them put together yet with their veil and hat but that will be forthcoming. Am thinking about painting a santa groom and a Mrs. santa bride...stay tuned!

As I mostly only paint Christmas items, it is only natural that I have Christmas items to give away so more than likely each of my giveaways will be Christmas oriented.
